Altar ritual work concentrates effort toward a specific objective: a situation that needs to move, something to open, something to close, something to protect. Work is done with specific forces according to what each case calls for.

Before any commission, there is an oracular consultation to determine which system is most appropriate: Hoodoo, Solomonic Magic, Traditional Sorcery or Goetic Magic, depending on what the situation requires.

Mojo Bags
and Gris-Gris

Mojo bags or gris-gris are traditional magical charms used in Hoodoo, Louisiana Voodoo and Afro-descendant practices. They consist of small fabric bags containing herbs, roots, minerals, charms and written petitions, charged with spiritual intention.

They are considered "living charms" and are activated, cared for and sometimes energetically "fed". They are normally carried concealed, close to the body, and should not be touched by other people.

Each bag is created for a specific and personal objective. They are used for spiritual protection, attraction of luck, love, money or success. They also serve to open roads, break blockages and strengthen personal energy.
